Ten Books That Means The Most to Me:) :) :)

1. Wonder By: R.J Palacio
Wonder is my favorite book ever because every chapter is someone else's perspective and how it gives you an insight on how bullied kids feel. From reading this book I learned not to judge a person by how they look and judge them by how their attitude is or how they are. For example August he has Treacher Collins Syndrome and he doesn't look the same as every other kid but inside (that sounds so cliche) August is a really nice kid and is really funny. Opposite of Auggie is Julian who every girl likes but inside he's a bully and is really mean. This book taught me not to judge someone by how they look but to judge them by their inside.
2. A Child Called It By: David Pelzer
If you ever have read A Child Called It, before it, definitely belongs in this list because this book just has the greatest and yet worst view on earth of how this monster can treat this innocent little boy like the way she does. This book means so much to me because I just hate how David has gone through this since he was release I think 5th grade? This first time I read this book I cried for David Pelzer because just to know he grew up in a torture house and he didn't have any help just gave me the perspective of how the worst things can happen to the most innocent of kids and no one knows UGH!

3. Romiette And Julio By: Sharon M. Draper
Have you ever thought about racism and how it affects couples of different races? After reading this book I thought about it more detailed and had a new viewpoint on it. I never really thought about how greatly the world is affected by racism now. I mostly thought how greatly the world was affected by it then. I got a new hindsight on how a Mexican can't date a African-American without getting harassed. Also how some people are still living back in the day where it was a crime to kiss someone of the opposite race.

4. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas By: John Boyne
The Boy In The Striped Pajamas gives me yet another frame of mind on how much hate the Nazis Party had for these Jews. It gives me the frame of mind of how young and innocent Bruno is but yet in the beginning of the book when Shmuel tells Bruno he's a Jew Bruno backs away.  This book makes me a better person because it teaches me not to treat others because of their ethnicity or because of their religion.

5. Th1rt3en Reasons Why By: Jay Asher
Th1rt3en Reasons Why is just one of those books you can't put down because every page gives you a view point of what some kids go through, rumors, mean list, drama (save the drama for Obama). Its just a book that you want to know what happens and you want to know why everybody is too blame for her death. After reading this book Jay Asher made me realize how bullies push and push to the point of someone hurting themselves and their friends and family just to get away from their torture.

6. The Bible By: Multiple Authors
My bible means EVERYTHING to me. Its how I base my lifestyle off of, how I make my decisions, how I am raised. The deepest meaning that I have ever found in the bible was how a man can love me so much that he would DIE that he would SACRIFICE his life for me that he would CHOOSINGLY be that unselfish to again DIE for a sinner that deserves to go to HELL instead he gave his life as another option to go and accept him and let us rejoice with him in HEAVEN.

7. Forge By Fire By: Sharon M. Draper
Has your past ever haunted you and then helped you overcome your fear and eventually save someone's life? Forge By Fire is like A Child Called It but had a little more similar connection to my family and has a deeper meaning to me. I think when I first read this book it was mainly because I wanted to know what happened to Andy, Gerald and the rest of the gang more or less because I didn't realized how greatly I would be affected by this book. This is the first book I have ever like got into the book (intentional blindness).

8. Diary of Anne Frank By: Anne Frank
After reading Anne Frank's diary, I got an amazing new perspective of how the holocaust really influenced many peoples lives. While reading, I realized how lucky we are not to be in hiding and how lucky we are we are able to say "Hey I am a Christian!" without getting put into a concentration camp.

9. Unstoppable By: Tim Green
You might say "a football book? How does that inspire you?" Well if you would hold your horses I will be glad to tell you. The first part of the book is when he's an orphan (well not technically because he's adopted but he's treated badly and I don't think thats a family if your treated badly) and he's hurt from the fight with his "dad"and he's taken away. That gets to me because I hate it when people are hurt and are taken away from their family even if their just a character in a book (haha). When he gets the cancer it hurts me even more because cancer is just one thing I won't joke around with because my grandpa died from it. It may a different perspective for you but for me I really like this book and it just touches my heart.

10. Becoming Naomi Leon By: Pam Munoz Ryan
Becoming Naomi Leon is another book you have to keep flipping through to find the meaning of it. You really have to read between the lines yea she's looking for her father while escaping her mother. I really think the meaning of it to me is kind of finding out who she is and what she came from as of ethnicity that connects to me because I am constantly wanting to find out more about where I came from and where my grandparents came from besides the fact of knowing they came from Reynosa and Monterrey Mexico its just that feeling of wanting to explore and learn more about you. I think its more of the opposite of me from Naomi she knows more about her mom's side of the family but I know more about my dad's side because my grandma was adopted so she doesn't know her biological parents and she doesn't know if she's full polish or if she's half Japanese or something.

All About Me:)

Hello my name is Mia and I'm in seventh grade.
Some of my hobbies are playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family, practicing my instruments (piano and flute), baking, and writing books or reading books. I enjoy playing other sports like basketball or softball, but volleyball is my favorite sport. Books I mostly enjoy reading are realistic fiction or comedy. I've been playing piano since I was in 4th grade and flute since 5th grade, I really like playing both because if you have flute sheet music you can just use that music for piano. If I had to choose a favorite it would be piano.
My favorite animal are dogs, (especially German Shepherds or Great Danes) and dolphins. I want to ride a dolphin one day, I think that would be really cool. My favorite TV show is Full House or Saved By The Bell. I really like to watch old TV shows just to get the feeling of how it was like back then and how their wording was different than ours. For example them using words like rad, instead of cool or awesome. I would definitely say Michelle is my favorite character from Full House. From Saved By The Bell I would say Kelly or Zack, Saturday morning sweethearts.
I'm not very open with my genres of music I usually stay with christian music or pop music. My favorite artist would be Lecrae, Justin Bieber, Newsboys, and Ariana Grande. I like to watch videos on Youtube, my favorite youtuber is Miss Fenderr. I wear blue in support of my grandpa who died from Colon Cancer (blue's my favorite color basically)
Something interesting about me is I'm going to be an aunt in February!!!!!
Now you know a lot about me:) Bye Bye!!!!
